Short Bio

Sandra received B.Sc.(Hons.) and Specialization degrees in Telematics Engineering and Management of Information Systems from Icesi University, Colombia, in 2003 and 2007 respectively. She works as Lecturer and Researcher at Icesi University since 2005 in the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, and currently is working toward her PhD degree in Communication and Information Systems in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Her current research interests include mobility management and routing in wireless networks, vehicular communication systems, and smart grid communications.
